Student of the Month-Cassie Holcombe

 Cassie Holcombe-A real go-getter, WHS Senior Cassie Holcombe has energy to spare.  This involved, helpful young woman definitely leads by example.  Cassie will work until the job is done, always with a smile—you can count on her!  Instrumental in the Be the Change Club, Cassie desires to make WHS an even more welcoming place to be.   Serving in ASB as well as the STAR mentor program, Cassie shows kindness to and compassion for others.  She is clearly an asset to our school and our community.   We know Cassie will continue to make a positive impact in her world after high school.

Student of the Month-Regan Townsend

Regan Townsend-Seldom without a smile on his face, WHS Senior Regan Townsend maintains an upbeat and respectful attitude appreciated by staff and students alike.  Regan possesses a rare maturity for a high school student that enables him to work hard yet be attuned to the needs of others.  A successful student who tackles tough classes like AP calculus and AP Government and Politics, Regan is also a successful athlete and has served as a mentor to younger students.  Regan’s winning attitude and heart for others will serve him well throughout life.
