2011 HSPE (High School Proficiency Exam) Schedule
Tuesday 3/15 Writing Day 1
Wednesday 3/16 Writing Day 2
Thursday 3/17 Reading
HSPE testing will be from 7:55 - 10:35 each day.
All HSPE 10th graders and 11th & 12th who have not met standard and 9th graders will be starting school at 7:55 a.m.
Juniors and seniors not testing will need to be in class at 11:10.
9th graders will be following their normal schedule in the morning.
High School Proficiency Exam (HSPE):
This test measures the proficiency of students in high school and serves as the state’s exit exam for reading and writing. Students in the classes of 2011 and 2012 must pass this assessment or a state-approved alternative in reading and writing in order to be eligible to graduate. Students in the class of 2013 and beyond must pass reading, writing, science and two math end-of-course exams in order to graduate.
